The 2005 Dog Rock Shiraz is the first single vineyard release from the wineries Pedro vineyard. The vineyard is located on the Western slopes of The Pyrenees Ranges in Victoria. The wine has a cedary sweet fruit nose with spices evident on a second whiff. The palate delivers sweet stewed fruit and plums, with spice and pepper playing an equal part. The oaking has contributed to give the wine a subtle elegance. Drink till 2014 - like you can wait!!!
