Tasting Notes

The 2002 Wolf Blass Red Label has a youthful deep red
colour with an attractive bouquet of red berry fruits,
peppery spice and mint. On the medium bodied palate
this wine has juicy sweet fruit flavours with a balanced
oak character, soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish.

VITICULTURE
Fruit for this wine was sourced from premium grape
growing regions in South Australia. The growing period
leading up to the harvest in 2002 experienced excellent
conditions and produced fruit with rich colour and
flavour.

WINEMAK ING
Following crushing, the juice and skins were
transferred to fermenting tanks. Traditional winemaking
techniques were then employed to enhance the fruit
characters and extract the colour and soft tannins from
the skins.
