Tasting Notes

The 2003 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a classic blend of
these two varietals. The Semillon provides vibrant
tropical flavours of peach, passionfruit and melon.
Sauvignon Blanc adds citrus and cut grass flavours to
this blend. This wine is fresh, fruity and clean with a
subtle hint of spice. It has a long lingering finish with
varietal fruit flavours throughout.

VITICULTURE
The 2003 vintage was warm and dry ensuring highly
concentrated fruit. Careful canopy management
including light summer pruning ensured fruit was evenly
exposed to sunlight. The grapes were night harvested to
preserve fresh fruit flavours and natural acid levels.

WINEMAK ING
Each parcel of fruit was pressed and fermented
separately in temperature- controlled stainless steel.
The wines were assessed by our winemaker, expertly
blended, then bottled early to retain natural freshness.

SUGGESTED F OOD
Herbed chicken salad with semi-dried tomatoes, aged
cheddar and romaine lettuce.
