< Deep rich red in colour, the nose shows fine charry, vanillin oak with rich, dark berry blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, some seaweed, leather, and black olive notes. The palate is rich and round with opulent black fruit flavours, dashing fruit complexity, and strong tannins reflecting the strength of this vintage. An excellent balance of savoury and ripe characters with essence of blackcurrent fruit, hints of herbs and menthol.
